{*1} The Scientific Method, involves the application of statistics to data to evaluate the probability of a hypothetical consideration of a potential 'incidence of fact' or 'cause & effect relationship', with 3 possible outcomes:

YES = 95+ out  of  100.

NO = 5- out of 100.

INCONCLUSIVE = anything between 5-95.

Inconclusive, includes:

probably (say, 65-95),

possibly (say, 35-65),

or unlikely (say, 5-35) ... out of 100.

Consequently, when scientists (thoroughly educated accordingly) dispute from the extremely small absolute opposite ends of the spectrum, YES versus NO; not putting forward considerations from the large inconclusive middle of the spectrum ... at least 1 side is probably intentionally misleading, outright lying or seriously incompetent; likely due to prejudice or corruption, because they are disputing from:

a) opposite end zones (0-5% vs 95-100% probabilities), ridiculously declaring touch downs for both of their teams simultaneously;

NOT

b) opposite sides of a 'property line' (49-50% vs 50-51% possibilities), cautiously putting forth considerations;

... oversight being extremely unlikely in a), ... but very possible in b).

The Scientific Method is a universal term, applied by scientists to an array of scientific & mathematical-statistical  applications, generalized by the above definition, primarily conducive to evaluating real-time observations of cause & effect in a strictly controlled consistent environment; correlated by real time-time reproducibility; statistically evaluated to determine the probability of a hypothetical causal-effect relationship. The controlled environment minimizes influential variables that distort the results, diminishing a conclusion. Therefore, evaluating evidence from the previous approximate 6,000 year historically recorded past becomes less accurate & the further unrecorded past exponentially inaccurate because of increasing unknown, even unknowable variables. Unfortunately, integrity & honor versus prejudice & corruption often determine the final verdicts of scientists that are human. Education in & of itself does not determine character & being a judge does 'not' necessitate a correct judgment.

The author could offer more but does not want encourage contention by promoting greed; rather healthy discourse. Integrity is worth a lot more than $100.

{*21}  Logic without emotion is robotic. Emotion without logic is chaotic. Logistically based emotion induces liveliness. Inappropriate emotions disrupt logistical processing. Logic must dominate emotion. Logic knows emotion is essential to experience appreciation of life. However, Logic must determine the parameters of emotional response.
